According to a report from Punch NG, Mr. Femi Falana, now lawyer to the Dakolo’s revealed The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered that the Fatoyinbo vs. Dakolo case be moved to Lagos.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) said that the petitions from the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Abuja, Biodun Fatoyinbo, and the Dakolos, will be merged and investigated at the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos.
He further added that the Inspector General has assured that justice would be done in the matter. While denying that the police authorities had refused to act on the Dakolos’ petition, the human rights lawyer said the case would be brought to Lagos because the family was the first to petition the police.

The police then reacted to these allegations in an official report, Reassuring Nigerians of their commitment to justice, saying that they simply invited Timi Dakolo and his wife for questioning
