Head and physique size is 47-55 in (120-140 cm); weight 132-165 lb (60-75 kg) in males, 77-121 lb (35-55 kg) in females. Horns of males are easy and curve up, out, then again. Females have brief, quite stout horns. Coat shade is grey to slate grey in winter, and a sandy tint in summer time. Males have a black line alongside the flanks, a black chest and throat. FEEDING ECOLOGY AND DIET

Traditionally hunted for meat by native peoples. Commercially hunted in elements of China and meat exported. Limited sport searching program established in Nepal.
