Davido revealed the Nigerian artists that he saw as mentors and helped in shaping his perspective about the music industry and fame.
Davido was interviewed a few days ago on the Grammy Museum, a new series.
“The Mentorship Monday sessions have provided an opportunity for students to connect with established music industry professionals and creatives, and served as a valuable tool for information, advice, and exploration within a wide variety of music careers and topics as they pursue their own careers,” they said on their website.
Davido has been working on his new album and his interview got the attention of his fans as they troop to watch the IG live session.
Davido spoke about how hard he had to work to the and how hard his beginnings were, he also give some advise to the up and coming artists to strive and it will one day pay off.
And also about the topic of his mentors, Don Jazzy and D’Banj were top of his list, he said seeing them with Jay Z and Kanye West was really in inspiring and that kept him going.
He also revealed his father was also his mentor and the experiences he had growing up shaped him into who he is now.
