Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star, Leo B DaSilva, has said that when gets married, his wife would not be mandated to take on his last name.
According to him, if she so wishes, his wife would be free to bear whichever name whereas their kids would bear his family name.
The reality TV star’s post evoked reactions from feminists that interpreted his tweet to mean that he does not care about her and her own name which is why he did not say she is free to bear her family name.
Leo tweeted;
“It won’t be compulsory for my wife to be Mrs. Dasilva, she can call herself whatever she wants. The kids will carry the family name #LeoTalk.”

Some men also mocked him for making a statement just to win the interest of women only to end up getting dragged by ladies.
